Yes. Open the iPhone or Apple Watch app once while connected. Each device keeps its last successful public rate snapshot and displays its update time.

The independent watchOS app is a focused amount converter. It receives rates from the connected iPhone when available or downloads them directly from the Bank of Israel over Wi-Fi or cellular. Expense lists and attachments remain on iPhone.

Expense lists, notes, tags, saved historical rates, and attachments synchronize through your private Apple iCloud account when available and are cached locally for offline use. Attachments also appear in Files and iCloud Drive. The developer cannot access this data.

Use the iOS share sheet and choose Shekel Exchange. You can attach the file to an eligible existing expense or create a new expense. From the expense editor, you can also select a file, scan a document, or explicitly paste a supported file from the clipboard.

Only when you choose to scan a document for an expense. Apple's document scanner converts the pages to a local PDF attachment. Camera access is optional and the scan is not uploaded to a developer server.

iOS decides when widgets and background refresh tasks run. You can manage background rate refresh under Settings → Apps → Shekel Exchange. Opening the app refreshes active dated lists when a network connection is available.

This is expected. The app shows representative Bank of Israel rates. Banks, card issuers, and payment providers may use different rates and charge fees. Treat the app's figures as information, not a transaction quote.

Customers who first download version 2.0.0 or later receive full access automatically for seven days without starting a subscription. Existing customers who update or reinstall do not receive a new free week. Afterward, customers can choose an auto-renewable monthly plan for ₪9.90 per month or a yearly plan for ₪89.90 per year in Israel. Neither plan includes an introductory trial. Apple displays the localized price before confirmation.

Eligible customers whose verified original app version is 1.5.3 or earlier retain permanent access automatically. If access is not recognized, use Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that originally obtained the app.

Open the app's About & Privacy screen and choose Manage Subscription, or use Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Access remains available until the verified expiration date.

Refund requests are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

A future app version may disable conversion. Existing mixed-currency lists will remain readable using their saved historical rates but will not accept new expenses or extras. Single-currency expense lists will remain available.
